The world’s leading motor bike racers present, in exclusive, the DAINESE jackets with Gore-Tex membrane for bikes. Namely, Valentino Rossi, Nicky Hayden, Guy Martin and Andrea Iannone, are who have removed their work suits in order to show us these garments look astride a bike.
Dainese has presented its summer and autumn jacket collection, which incorporates the Gore-Tex fabric and designed generally for use on touring-adventure. The jackets with Gore-Tex membrane have been devised for the colder seasons and offer maximum comfort and although these jackets are mainly for tourism use, you wouldn’t turn your nose up at them for a more racing escapade on a mountain port.
Carve Master Gore-Tex
The first of our protagonists is the carve Master Gore-Tex, a jacket with technical materials where the Mugello elastic fabric predominates, very pleasant to the touch, water repellent and abrasion resistant. The jacket incorporates many adjustments (collar, cuffs, waist and back area) to provide maximum comfort, insulation and protection to the user, as well as a great mobility on the go. The elastic fabric panels on the front and back also stand out.
The Carve Master incorporates thermoplastic pads covered in cowhide on the shoulders and reflective inserts on key points that ensure a high visibility and greater safety. Staying in the safety department, there are removable composite protectors on the shoulders and elbows, certified according to normative 1621.1. The Carve Master includes a space for installing specific back protectors.
The Dainese jacket includes a thermal lining removable for warmer days, allowing the opening of vents on the front and rear, as well as two waterproof outer pockets. It also has a connection zip for connecting to Dainese pants.
The second protagonist is a jacket from the same family, where we find more technical elements than in the first, as it is a garment designed for long journeys capable of enduring long trips under adverse weather conditions. The jacket’s Gore-Tex sheet provides great comfort, as well as being water resistant, transpirable and with a removable thermal lining.
Another of its features is its light weight, as this gives it a great freedom of movement and does not penalise comfort on the go. The Ridder Gore-Tex has removable padding in the neck, ventilation areas o the chest and back, it adjusts in various areas and has reflective elements that increase its visibility, apart from having the possibility of adding a chest protector (not included).
Also with Gore-Tec fabric, a third jacket has been designed whose features adapt to more to an urbanite use. With its sheet of Concorde Gore-Tex membrane and soft exterior fabric it is fat drying and reduces cooling due to the wind. Thanks to its
protections-made form an innovative material-of soft feel and that adapts perfectly to the body, the jacket offers an impact energy absorption ratio well beyond that of its competitors, as well as a very contained weight. Amongst the jacket’s details we find the
and the opaque black metal logo, which reinforces the look of this jacket.
The Concorde de Dainese jacket has a very urban style which clearly state that we are before a jacket, that although it has been designed for using on the bike, has clear components of a dress jacket and its versatility allows us to use is as a dress jacket once off the bike or scooter.
