The Dainese Laguna Seca D1 is the most sold two-piece suite from the Italian brand. It offers quality and the use of lattest technologies in a product with an excellent price per value.
Materials and construction
The Dainese Laguna Seca D1 suite is the lattest evolution of the Laguna Seca’s family, using the Tutu cowhide, the best on quality.
According to get on flexibility on the motorbike, Dainese features three different technologies: the bielastic S1 textile, placed on the internal side of the arms and the armpits on the jacket and the groin and the back of the legs on the pants; the accordion panels, placed on the shoulder blades, armpits, the lowest area of the back and the knees; and Microelastic inserts, specially designed for those areas where we cannot avoid the presence of the leather and its protection levels.
Other details increase the sportiness on the Dainese Laguna Seca D1: aerodynamic hump, an adjusted size, the replaceable sliders on the knees, the neck with an elastic textile for a greater flexibility on that area… all these allow us an sporty position on the bike, both during a journey on the road or a day in the track.
Obviously, we are in front of a 100% sporty wear, so Dainese has included on this suite all their knowledge on races: internal protectors on the shoulders, elbows, knees and shins. In addition to this, the elbows feature external co-injected protectors with the Dainese logo on it.
We have to highlight that the suite fetaures Pro-Shape soft protectors, placed in the torso and also covering the internal protectors of the suite. We do not find any compartment for chest or back protcetors, so if we want to use these kind of protectors, we will have to get independent and external protectors, like the Manis or the chest protector Chest L2.
Interiors and adjustments
On the interior we find that Dainese has used the NanoFeel internal lining, with antibacterial treatment. This internal lining is placed both on the jacket and the pants and it combined with a 3D Bubble textile, for an optimal transpiration. If we want to increase the ventilation inside the suite, there are two side zippers on the back of the suite, just to evacuate the hot air from the inside.
On the inside, we find a zipper pocket on the right side. The pants are connected to the jacket through a zipper, the same system we find as the jacket’s main closure, with a Velcro finish on the top. On the lowest part of the pants we find a system with two zippers, according to adapt the suite to the differents boots of the market, being these external or internal, like the Dainese Axial Pro In.
The Dainese Laguna Seca D1 is the favourite suite for those who are looking for a sporty two piece suite designed both for the track and the road and with a very good price per value.
