The Dainese Nighthawk D1 Gore-Tex are the evolution of the Nighthawk C2, a touring boots and for daily use of the most complete in the market, especially when we talk about boots designed for all kinds of conditions and routes.
Materials and construction
The Dainese Nighthawk D1 Gore-Tex are certified in accordance with EC-Cat. II EN 13634 and are made of microfiber, a very lightweight material and resistant that extends the life of the boot. It is probably the most drastic change from the previous model, which was made of cowhide.
As the name suggests, the Gore-Tex membrane is another important feature of this boot. The Gore-Tex guarantees a total waterproofness and breathability.
It should also be noted that the new Nighthawk D1 incorporate elastic inserts in the heel area and on the instep for greater comfort, in addition to small perforations at the top and strategically placed to facilitate the breathability.
The Dainese Nighthawk D1 Gore-Tex incorporate rigid insertions at the ankles and the tibia area is reinforced with thermoplastic polyurethane.
In addition, we find reinforcements in TPU in the ankle area, in order to protect the foot and reinforce our comfort.
Finally, the reflective inserts help to be more visible in night driving or in low light.
In the interior you can see, in addition to the Gore-Tex membrane that predominates in the boot, the existence, in the upper part of the cane, of microperforations that favor an optimum transpiration.
Sole and closure
The Dainese Nighthawk D1 Gore-Tex sole is Skywalk brand and it is made of rubber with a particular non-slip design that facilitates water circulation.
In terms of closures, the Nighthawk have a side zip that covers the boot, in addition to a large panel with Velcro that reinforces the closure, for a great comfort of the foot.
