The Dainese Anemos Windstopper are urban gloves that will allow us to move through the city and suburbs commuting with comfort thanks to its Windstopper membrane.
Construction and materials
The Dainese Anemos are comfortable gloves thanks to its easy and ergonomic construction, made with Windstopper layer. This textile has been creeated by the German brand Gore. It is made with expanded Teflon, with great levels of evaporation and mantaining high insulating values. Also, it is water resistant, that means it will resist a light rain, but it is not waterproof.
We also find doeskin in the palm, for better grip to the handlebar and resistance to the use, while the wrist is made with elastic textile. Its sober aesthetics can be combined with urban clothing and suitable for a daily use.
These gloves incorporate a wide knuckles protection, made of thermoplastic resin, according to offer the correct protection to this area against the impacts. This protector has been included on a padded area, so the glove can mantain the comfort. The palm’s doeskin also protects our hands in an event of a fall.
Closures and details
The Anemos Windstopper include a Velcro closure in the wrist area, that offers a correct adjustment to the glove.
Dainese has included some details to offer better practicity and comfort: the middle and the ring fingers have silicone finish, that offers better grip to the motorbike bars; and the thumb and index finger also have the ‘Dainese Smart Touch’ material, that allows us to manipulate smartphones and tactile screens with the gloves on.
The Dainese Anemos Windstopper, very similar to the Alpinestars C1, which offers the same Windstopper layer, are a good product if we are used to ride our bike or scooter in urban areas, but also interesting for those who only use the motorbike or the scooter as passenger.
