Here’s a compilation of the best helmet reviews that we’ve carried out this 2016.
Shoei X-Spirit III
Let’s begin with one of the star launches this year: the Shoei X-Spirit 3. Developed in MotoGP thanks to the contribution of riders such as Marc Márquez, the X-Spirit 3 represents a great step forward in all aspects, especially in aerodynamics. The supersports bikes constantly provide more features and Shoei has created this helmet in order to improve performance on the track and for sports riding. The X-Spirit 3 has thus become on the most advanced helmets on the market as regards safety: it is the new flagship the Shoei..
Shark Spartan Carbon
In the sport-touring segment, the Shark Spartan Carbon has been one of the great novelties of 2016. Shark has created a full face helmet perfect for everyday use but with sports DNA. Thanks to aerodynamics which reduces the noise levels inside, the Spartan is a perfect helmet for naked and street fighter bike riders. Also, the multi-fibre shell, the built in sun visor and a studied interior make the Spartan Carbon a very complete product, polyvalent and with a very tempting quality-price ratio.
The German brand Schuberth has revolutionised the modular helmet segment with the E1. Starting from their C3 Pro model, Schuberth has created an adventure modular helmet. With off-road elements such as the mud fender visor or the chin bar with an anti-dust filter and touring conveniences such as the built in sun visor. The Schuberth E1 has everything you need to move around on asphalt or dirt tracks, but with the particularity of also being modular.
There is no doubt that the café-racer segment is surging and Shoei did not want to get left behind. The J.O. is the new jet helmet of the Japanese firm, with marked vintage aesthetics but with the best current technology: multi-fibre shell, adjustable built in sun visor, Premium padding and leather finishes. A helmet that will make many fans of classic styling fall in love with it.
Gráficas Marvel y Stars Wars de HJC
And to end with one of the bombshells of this 2016: the new HJC collection with characters from Marvel and Star Wars. Now you can buy Marvel’s Iron Man, Superman, Venom, Punisher or Boba Fett and Kylo Ren of Star Wars thanks to HJC. These graphics are available in their RPHA 11 sports model or the sports-touring IS 17 and also the FG-ST. In fact, these helmets are much more than just that: they are official merchandising of cult films.
