The Dainese Blackjack D-Dry is a textile jacket with removable lining and waterproof membrane. It is a garment with retro aesthetic and light weight that is perfect for daily trips on the road and city in all kinds of weather.
Construction and materials
The fabric of the Dainese Blackjack is D-Synth 220L, an abrasion-resistant synthetic fabric created by Dainese. We also find panels of cow turned leather on the chest and sleeves, with aesthetic touches that bring a vintage style to the jacket.
This fabric has been laminated with a waterproof and breathable D-Dry membrane. The layerless design that allows the rolling and the low weight of D-Synth fabric, convert the Blackjack in a lightweight jacket. It also has an inner lining, removable by zippers, so that we can wear this jacket in winter.
The Dainese D-Dry Blackjack includes protections on elbows and shoulders. The shoulder straps are removable by velcro, while the elbows, also removables, have a space with a zipper. If you want, these protections can be replaced by the Pro-Armor kit of the own brand, although it doesn’t come standard.
In addition, the jacket has space for the installation of a type G trellis of the brand: it is accessed through the upper zipper of the back. The trellis is not included with the jacket.
Locks and pockets
The main closure is double: zippered and flap with push buttons, including the clasp of the neck. We also have push buttons on the adjustment straps on sleeves and waist; all for a tight fit, sporty style. The jacket has two front exterior pockets and an inside pocket in the removable lining.
In summary, the Dainese Blackjack D-Dry is a jacket designed for daily use, on short or long trips. With a very careful aesthetic, it is a light and comfortable garment, with a sporty touch but also protects from the cold and rain.
