The choice of this fabric is ideal for matching with a Gore-Tex waterproof membrane, which is stitched into the Mugello fabric. Gore-Tex needs no introduction as it is the most popular waterproof membrane because its impermeability values are the highest in the market and which is added an optimal breathability.
The Gore-Tex membrane is hide under the Mugello fabric, but over the inner winter linning.
Inside we find the thermal lining featuring a soft padding, providing warmth and comfort. It can be removed by zippers, making ideal ride with this jacket in spring and autumn too. The neck also features a padded, removable liner by push buttons.
Here we can see the difference betwwen the Gore-Tex membran and the fabric from the winter linning.
For ventilation, the jacket features two air intakes with zippers on both sides of the chest. The air intake channels the flow between the fabric and the Gore-Tex membrane. For proper hot air evacuation hot air paths are outputs, also with zippers, located in the back.
The Dainese Master Carve Gore-Tex has rigid protectors on shoulders and elbows, all of them certified. These protectors are internal and can be extracted: you’ll find a zipper on both sleeves to access the elbow and the shoulder can be removed with velcro straps. Also, on the outer shoulder area we find it is reinforced with an outer skin panel vaccine mounted on a thermoformed composite, adding more security at this critical point.
