As we said, the French brand is characterized by having a long catalog where we find motorcycle helmets that, regardless of the style, have some common characteristics: they are really very comfortable helmets, prepared to wear prescription glasses thanks to its Easy Fit system, they are made of quality materials and above all, they are helmets that have a very good quality-price ratio. So for us, these are the best Shark motorcycle helmets.

Shark Ridill 2, the motorcycle helmet for all ages

We start this list with the Shark Ridill 2 helmet, Shark’s entry-level full-face helmet. It is a helmet made of Lexan-injected polycarbonate, an impact resistant material that also allows us to contain its price.

This is the 2nd generation of a best-selling motorcycle helmet, with the new ECE 2206 homologation. It is a sport-touring helmet with a sun visor, with pre-installation for an intercom, micrometric closure, and predisposition to include a Pinlock anti-fogging film, which, of course, is not included in the box.

A perfect helmet for short trips if you are looking for comfort and a low price. It is available in many different graphics and colors.

Shark Skwal I3, the motorcycle helmet with lights

Without a doubt, the Shark Skwal i3 helmet is one of the most striking and original motorcycle helmets available, as it has integrated and approved LED lights to be visible in low-light conditions.

It has ECE 2206 homologation, (so the lights are also homologated with the helmet), and it is another comfortable, versatile helmet with sun visor. Other features: micrometric closure, intercom pre-installation and Pinlock included, among many others.

Shark D-Skwal, another sport-touring motorcycle helmet

A helmet similar to the previous one, but without integrated LED lights is the Shark D-Skwal 3 helmet, a best-selling helmet that is really very comfortable and has a somewhat sportier profile than the previous ones. It is made of injected polycarbonate, has an internal structure also injected and rear spoilers that demonstrate the sporty character of the helmet.

Pinlock included sun visor, pre-installation for an intercom, and micrometric closure. All with ECE 2206 homologation.

Shark Spartan RS, the sport-touring par excellence

We take it up a notch with the Shark Spartan RS helmet, one of the first motorcycle helmets to hit the market with the new ECE 2206 homologation. Basically, it is a helmet that perfectly represents how a sport-touring motorcycle helmet should be.

It is made of a set of multi-axial fibers that provide high-impact resistance and, in addition, lightness.

The important thing about this helmet is that its interiors are among the best in its category, as they provide a great fit, are very comfortable and insulate very well. In addition, the screen has a locking system developed for the brand’s MotoGP helmets and the closure is a double buckle. Hence also, its sporty character.

Pinlock included, chinstrap cover and intercom pre-installation are some of the other features of a helmet available in a multitude of different graphics and colors and in a carbon version.

Shark GT Pro, a more sport than touring helmet

Another of the best Shark motorcycle helmets you can buy is the Shark GT Pro. This is another sport-touring model, but with a sportier character. And of course, it has all the characteristics of the brand’s top-of-the-line helmets: top-of-the-line materials, extremely comfortable inner padding and usually very good insulation.

Both the previous one and this GT Pro, are two full face helmets that you are going to get right. It also has a carbon version and ECE 2206 homologation.

Shark Race-R Pro GP, the best Shark helmet

And finally, the crown jewel of Shark helmets is the Shark Race-R Pro GP, a sports motorcycle helmet developed to the highest level. In fact, it is the same helmet model worn by the brand’s riders in MotoGP and Superbikes. The rear spoiler already indicates exactly this. In fact, it is the only helmet of the French brand that has the FIM homologation (International Motorcycling Federation) to compete in professional championships.

It is a racing helmet made of carbon fiber and Aramid, two ideal materials for riding at high speeds on the circuit, as they provide resistance to impacts and abrasion, as well as being two very light materials.

Likewise, the padding offers great support and breathability and the rear spoiler reduces turbulence at high speeds. And of course, the closure is a double ring. Basically, it is the same motorcycle helmet used by professional Shark riders: Raul Fernandez, Oliveira or Johann Zarco, to give 3 examples.

I had 2 full face Shark helmets, and I was very satisfied with both. First I had a Skwal with the light, it had a very nice graphic, was very comfortable. I did not use the lights, it looks cool on the shelf, but charging it and put an extra battery into the helmet did not work for me. Spartan, my second helmet, plain red, very nice and comfortable. I wanted to buy a caron first, but fiberglass is as strong as carbon , just not so light. So I did not pay for a couple gramms. But carbon helmets of Shark look really cool!
