Novelties on Motocard! A new post to present the Rev’it! brand of motorcycle gear. A Dutch brand that is growing and that we’ve just incorporated into our stores and the web. As we have a lot to offer, let’s see what they offer in jackets, boots and pants. Rev’it! The name’s cool huh!

Rev’it! Vertex H2O Jacket
Revit Vertex H2O Jacket. A textile jacket made of 600D polyester (like all the ones we’re going to see afterwards) and that stands out for the sports design, as from the outside it looks like a leather jacket. We have internal protections on the shoulders and elbows, which are removable. These protections are common to the other jackets that we’ll see and are of Level 1. On the back there’s a space to install the brand’s back protector, called Seesoft RV, Which is of Level 2; it doesn’t come as standard in any model.
Complementing these protections we have the TPU reinforcement on the shoulders that confers it this sports aesthetic. As you can see, the design is sporting, well fitted to the body. Then on the inside we’d like to highlight the Hydratex waterproof membrane and the removable inner thermal lining for winter, which makes it an all year round jacket.
And then there are these practical details such as connecting zips to the pants or the reflective inserts. In summary; it’s the Rev’it!’s textile sports jacket.
Rev’it! Arc H2O Jacket
On to the Revit Arc H2O jacket. It shares loads of features with the Vertex: internal and external protections, the space for the back protector, the waterproof membrane and the inner lining…
Where’s the difference? In the exterior material. Apart from the polyester, there’s also softshell fabric on the upper part of the chest and the back, which makes it more breathable. Which is to say that the Arc H2O seeks a mix between features and comfort.
Apart from the classic details such as the adjustments or the pants connecting zip, it also has a loop for connecting the jacket to some jeans! Here the Rev’it! guys have been clever as biker jeans (we have a special video dedicated to them, take a look) are becoming more and more popular . A point in favour of the Arc H2O.
Rev’it! Torque Jacket
And if we move on to something slightly less sporty, more discrete for day to day use, we have the Revit Torque jacket. Special because it’s a vented jacket. Made of polyester with ample vented mesh panels. All the front and rear surface is all mesh. Very, very cool for summer.
And as it can still rain in summer and spring, it also has a waterproof membrane. I’m not going to talk about the other sections as we have the same as the previous models: Level 1 protections. Adjustments, jeans belt loop…Also available in a women’s version.
Rev’it! Outback 3 jacket and pants outfit
Closing off the sports and multi-use jacket segment to go off into the touring terrain. The top great outfits for taking long trips and I’ll do this with the Revit Outback 3 jacket and pants.
We still have 600D polyester as the main material, but we have another type of fabric, called Ripstop, even more abrasion and wear resistant. For greater safety, the removable protections (including the knee guards) are of Level 2 and the jacket also has a space for the back protector. By the way, the knee guards are adjustable in height and there are Level 1 protections on the hips.
Inside we have the thicker, long sleeve thermal lining, and also the breathable and waterproof Hydratex membrane. To gain ventilation, it has a system of openings on the flaps that increase the airflow enters the jacket.
And then it has many more side, rear and interior pockets, as well as details like the adjustable collar and lower part of the jacket. The connection is by zip and everything is adjustable: cuffs, sleeves, waist, lower part of the leg via zip, etc. Also available in a women’s version.
Rev’it! Sand 3 jacket-pants
Now onto the Revit Sand 3 outfit. Here we move into adventure, onto long trips on all types of terrains, much more demanding on the gear. Therefore, the Sand 3 is entirely made of Ripstop and only some areas are of polyester 600D.
Another different aspect is the waterproof membrane that is of 3 layers, it holds water better in storms. And it’s removable, important in the adventure segment. As regards the inner lining and the ventilation system of the jacket, they are the same as the Outback 3. And the same level of protections, sharing the same ones (which are quite good).
Finally we want to highlight that it is compatible with the neck brace, increasing its adventure/off-road orientation. As for the rest, we still have many pockets, all types of adjustments, the pants connecting zip, etc. So, as you can see: the Sand 3 outfit is the “hardest”, it wants to be for more extreme conditions than the touring Outback 3.
One little thing: in the Rev’it! catalogue there are complements for both outfits. From a cooling gilet to another hi-viz one or braces for the pants.
Rev’it! Pioneer H2O Boots
Let’s leave the outfits for now and move on to the boots to finish. We’re bringing you two: the Revit Pioneer H2O and the Trail H2O.
The Pioneer H2O boots are made of pure grain leather – note that, maximum quality – combined with suede to give them an aesthetic touch. Also, there are finishes in Cordura 500 and edges reinforced with anti-abrasion rubber. And as the name indicates, they are waterproof boots thanks to the Hydratex membrane.
As far as safety goes: they have reinforcements on the toe box and the heel, protections on the tongue and heel, the outer sole is also reinforced and is made of special rubber to afford grip. The inner lining is of mesh, the sole is anatomical, there’s EVA foam between the insole and the outsole.
The closure is interesting: Boa type. Forget about zips, you just have to turn this little dial and the boots fit. One of the few touring boots with a system like this, prefect for combining with the Outback 3 outfit, for example.
Rev’it! Trail H2O Boots
And we’ll end with the Rev’it! Trail H2O boots, which are basically the adventure boots that Rev’it! proposes to combine with the Sand 3 outfit, if we want.
Here we have a high shaft boot, made of cowhide, with all the areas flexible in the area of joining between the shin and the foot, PWR material reinforcements and other details that make these Trail H2O very robust boots.
They are also breathable and waterproof, but with another membrane called Hydratex Z-liner. The material of the sole changes too, with a more wear-resistant rubber.
As for the protections, they’re everywhere: toe box, heel, ankles, shins… and inside to the mesh fabric and the foam between the anatomical insole and the outsole, they add anatomical padding in the ankle area.
In summary, some serious adventure boots. Wow, as you can see we’ve got a lot of it and it’s good. I encourage you to browse through the web and see more Rev’it! products and we’ll be expecting your comments in the comments section.
