Spring is coming and it’s time to analyse all the new equipment that Alpinestars presents for 2021: jackets, trousers, track suits, gloves and shoes. Some spring novelties that we show you in Motocard before anywhere else.

Broadly speaking, what Alpinestars has done is to present new products to renew some of its top products, but in addition, the Italian brand is also betting on something more urban with very interesting novelties.

Alpinestars Cooper V2 Plus jeans for everyday use

An example of what I am talking about are the Alpinestars Cooper V2 Plus jeans, which combine the usual denim fabric of a pair of street trousers, but with aramid fibre, which offers great resistance against abrasion and shorts.

In addition, they have certified Bio-Flex protections on the knees that we can extend with a hip protector that is not included. In short, perfect protections for day-to-day use that go unnoticed.

One detail: the hem is reflective to be more visible in low light. A pair of trousers to take into account.

We don’t leave the field of boots because Alpinestars has renewed a bestseller: the Alpinestars SMX-1 R V2, a low-cut sports boot.
They have the ideal protections for everyday use, but they also allow you to go on bike tours. The heel part is reinforced, with soft TPR inserts, internal ankle protectors, a reinforced toe cap and, above all, a small slider.

Very versatile zippered boots that are currently available in 3 different colour combinations and also in a ventilated and women’s version.

But, in terms of motorbike boots, the big news is the renewal of the sportiest motorbike boot from Alpinestars: the Supertech-R.

Although you may not detect that there are major differences with the previous generation, the Alpinestars Supertech 2021 has interesting new features. Above all, in the safety section, and that the front has been redesigned.

Basically, protections and ventilation have been improved. For example, the shin guard is new and a slider has been included in the upper part. Likewise, the breathability of the front is now greater, and the fabric of the front is more abrasion resistant.
