Schuberth C5 Helmet Master Blue. The Schuberth C5 is the first helmet with P/J homologation according to the new ECE 22.06 standard. It has a completely new design and features a new extremely compact and aerodynamic shell. The interior, with its unique concept of seamless individual linings, offers an unmatched level of comfort. The C5 benefits from the anti-roll-off system connected to the chin strap in a new, more advanced position to improve comfort in the throat area. It stands out for offering the possibility of installing a communication system fully integrated with the design of the helmet.
TECHNICAL DETAILS:
Outer shell: Made of fiberglass reinforced with carbon fiber via Schuberth's innovative production method (DPF: Direct processed Fiber), which results in a lightweight shell with extraordinary resistance and maximum stability.
2 sizes of outer shell for a better fit to each size.
Inner shell: New EPS material that improves shock absorption and increases headroom. It has two densities in the main part and on the sides.
New ventilation system: The C5's new ventilation system changes the rules in the category of flip-up helmets. The C5 is designed to combine maximum ventilation, thanks to the double chin air inlet and interchangeable filter, together with the multi-channel system inside the EPS and a new rear spoiler that facilitates the extraction of air. It features a new dual front air intake with a washable and interchangeable filter for correct breathing while riding in extreme conditions. The buttons offer an easy and variable adjustment of the front ventilation.
Schuberth Individual Concept interior: The C5 sets a new benchmark in terms of comfort. The interior padding has been developed to offer maximum comfort through a new concept of seamless interior linings, which facilitates maintenance and improves acoustic performance.
The C5 introduces the "INDIVIDUAL CONCEPT". It is a program aimed at ensuring maximum comfort for the motorcyclist, giving the possibility of customizing the interior padding with different thickness options.
Screen: Level 1 optical quality clear screen, with anti-scratch treatment. It offers a very wide field of vision, even when adopting a sports position. It has a visor mechanism with patented memory function. Includes Pinlock 120®.
Sun visor: It has an integrated 80% tinted and anti-fog sun visor, with different settings and locking system.
SC2 Communication System with Plug & Play Integration (Sold Separately): Extremely easy to install, configure and use, the SC2 Communication System sets a new standard for motorcycle communication. HD speakers, three antennas for FM Radio, Bluetooth Intercom, and Mesh intercom are already pre-installed in the SCHUBERTH C5. The SC2 is extremely simple to use: just plug in the HD Microphone, remove the covers on the back of the helmet, release the remote control housing on the side, connect both, turn them on and you're ready to go!
Acoustic performance: The Schuberth C5 offers excellent performance in terms of aeroacoustic comfort with only 85 dB (A) at 100 km/h. Schuberth has optimized the aeroacoustics in the wind tunnel of each component both inside and outside the hull. The result is an incomparable level of soundproofing, thanks to the design of its new collar.
Reflective areas to improve visibility while riding.
The Schuberth C5 comes equipped with a micrometric closure system.
The helmet has P/J homologation to ride in complete safety both with the helmet closed in full-face mode and with the helmet open in jet mode.
