What homologation do full-face helmets have
All the helmets we sell at Motocard are duly homologated according to the latest certifications and the most current quality standards in the market. The new ECE 22.06 type approval consists of several endurance tests. Homologation 22.05 established 6 impact points on the helmet, while homologation 22.06 establishes 12 more points. In other words, much more demanding. The display is also tested for impact and fogging resistance. Another major difference between the two approvals is the rotational impact test. A rotational impact is now simulated, one of the most demanding tests to date. FIM homologated helmets are intended for racing and championships. It is mandatory in order to compete professionally.
