Fold, graze, lean....synonyms used in biker slang to refer to polishing the sliders. For those of us who aren't Valentino Rossi, it takes time to learn to lean well, but when you do...Holy Cow!!
Placed in the pants of the 1 piece suit, the knee sliders are of the few things that we like to wear out sooner rather than later. It's a product that, the more worn out it is, the more fun you've had. And, needless to say, the more you can show off. Although there are days that the track is not much fun and the rain won't let you lean as much...you could prepare some water sliders.
If there's something that looks really cool in photos that would be the sparks flying off the tarmac. The boot sliders are a blessed element that saves us from having to throw away our boots after every outing on the track. Make sure you buy sliders for the same boot model that you use, as brands like Dainese, Alpinestar or Sidi, do not make universal ones.
And, as riders have been showing us since the times of Jean Philippe Ruggia and today with Marc Márquez, touching with the elbow is possible. So pay attention, because who knows? Soon, maybe, we'll have elbow sliders available. And don't doubt it for a second, Motocard will be the first to offer them.
