Rukka motorcycle products and accessories
Brand History
Rukka is one of the top brands when it comes to manufacturing waterproof and thermal garments. This specialization has been favored thanks to its location. The brand was created on the west coast of Finland, a Nordic country where cold, rain, and snow are seen almost daily.
Roger Störling founded the company in 1950, initially focusing on the production of jogging clothes. With hardly any resources to manufacture garments, he embarked on this new path until 1953, when he obtained his first sewing machines. It was at that point he began producing waterproof garments, marking the start of the brand's future success.
For many years, the brand specialized in manufacturing nautical equipment, as due to its coastal location, this type of clothing was highly demanded.
The founder was passionate about motorcycling, so during the 1980s he began developing specific clothing for motorcyclists, aiming to offer quality gear that provided adequate protection and insulation for traveling through the coldest terrains on the planet.
Since 1990, Rukka has been part of Luhta Sportswear Company, one of the largest sportswear manufacturers in Europe, based in Finland. As part of this company, Rukka has collaborated with various institutions and research teams, allowing them to improve their products and offer garments with innovative technologies.

For adventure lovers, it's essential to have gear ready for unexpected and challenging conditions. The outfit must work both on asphalt and rougher trails. The key to good urban gear is versatility and comfort. City rides are usually short, so your clothing needs to be useful both on and off the bike. In this case, we’re talking about jackets, pants, and gloves with a more casual design, made of leather or denim, among others.
